Well, some of the problems are undoubtedly related to production. Others are design related. This driveline vibration TSB changes the DESIGN of the tranny mount if I understand correctly. There are other instances which point to design/cost cutting being the cause of problems. The exhaust manifolds were redesigned. The 3 leaf packs are a design problem, completely inadequate for a TRUCK of this size. Even something as simple as the air intake vibrating against sheet metal. Why wasn't the intake designed originally with foam to cushion the imapact? IMO, sloppiness. You can't blame everything on factory workers. They cannot improve on a design.
