Dependability and longevity are in question with certain parts of this truck.
I would agree with you on breaks, My last truck needed front brake work every 80-90,000 miles and rear breaks were done at 140,000 miles. My crewmax is made to require it every 30,000 with my proof being conversation with dealer.
As previous post said, either we deal and fix out of pocket or sell it and take a HUGE hit on resale or trade in.
I would recommend to fix brakes and all little stuff yourself and keep it.
I would agree that this truck could have been perfect if they didn't cheapen certain parts and by cutting certain corners, us first buyers of 07 trucks paid top dollar with belief of quality, IN WHICH TOYOTA WAS ASHAMED OF.
They were ashamed, but we paid the price.
