Default Re: Trans (front) axle housing (rear) fluid

I don't like the sounds of what the tech told you the dealer only use type 4 toyota trans fluid and a new trans fluid for the 2007 and later camry called ws or world standard. Personlly I use mobil one synthetic in my trans 2006 camry and no problems. I also have a restored 1991 lexus ls400 with close to 300k miles on it all the fluids are synthetic and no problems. If you are under warranty just use type 4 toyota trans fluis to keep peace in the toyota family .
make sure you always change your trans fluid and power steering at about 20,000 miles unless you do long haul mileage then go to 30,000 miles happy motoring.
