CEL light came back on today.. "Low c1500" i had a look at your 02 mod but i dont think i have the electrical skill to do that.. i guess ill have to stick with the URD 02 simulators! Problem is, i did the same mod on the land cruiser i had prior to the tundra.. the LC had an O2 sensor and each side of the headers manifold, and a sensor behind the converter (on both sides), i put spacers the same way i did on the tundra n it worked... I believe the problem is i didnt put spacers on the front sensors (attached infront of where the 1st set of cats were), and the only way to do that is have a screw in spacer made!! Its a long story i dont wanna get into.. the easiest way to do it is wait another week (according to URD) for them to put the O2 sim on thier website and buy them off there!!
Good news is, i got you guys the pictures of the mod, pls bare in mind that this mod cost me $150 n the shop didnt have a mandrel bender so i opted for welding everything together. Furthermore, the material used for the piping is cheap mild steel. Although it may not show it, but they gave me a huge gain in power plus an exhaust note like no other.. the truck is a total beast now! Enjoy:-
(BTW, i wouldve liked to comment on every picture individually explaining the key points presented but i didnt know how to post them individually on the site. However, the pictures show you the piping and the weld points present, it also shows the sensor spacers, the location of where the original converter would be etc...)
Hope this helps, and if you guys want anything such as sound clip or anything similar, i will try to arrange for that ASAP
