'97 x cab 4x4. Aside from PMs and oil changes every 3K and one alternator, this truck has been perfect. Still has factory brakes @ 210k. Sold it to my girlfriend and she is giving it to her kid as her fist vehicle. It's still in the family and hopefully I'll get it back one day.
Couldn't pass up the free money from Toyota (no interest and 2K cash) so I got a new Tundra. Only hope it proves to be as relaible as the T has been. No reason to suspect it won't be.
I will never have anything from Detroit. These Asian vehicles have made a believer out of me. My first experience was an '82 Accord. Didn't look too impressive, but the thing had 310k when I took ownership. Put onother 50K on it with no isssues.
