Default Toyota Extended Care

I'm looking to buy a 2005/2006 Sequoia. The one I'll be looking at this weekend is an 05 with 22k on the ODO. The factory 3y/36k ran out in may but it still has the 5y/60k drivetrain warranty.

Can I buy an extended warranty for it from toyota? I understand that its a low mile vehicle but I don't like any chances considering I lost the tranny on my 02 way back when and thankfully the 100k warranty I bought made toyota replace it at 95k and I didn't have to pay 3500$.

If I can't I'll start looking at the 06s-07s.

Anyone know a dealership that sells the extended warranties cheaper than full retail?

Thanks,
Michal
