Re: Anyone with 20" Wheels on TRD Edition Tundra?
I really wanted the 20" wheels, so I got a Limited with the TRD dual exhaust. That worked out real well for me, and should be great for you, too. Since you say you won't be trail driving, much less off-roading, the TRD suspension would be a waste of money.
As I understand it, Tundras with 20" wheels come with tires with a lower aspect ratio. That means the truck highth, the effective axle ratio and the speedometer remain unchanged.
I've been delighted with my 20s. You don't give up a pound of load capacity or towing capacity, and the ride seems as good or better as my '01 (1st Generation) Tundra.
BTW, if you get the optional 22" wheels, Toyota mates 'em with tires with a really low aspect ratio. That means much less towing and load carrying capacity.
