like i said before i had the driveshaft replaced...thud, slack, clunk (whatever it is), seems to have gotten better but still exists. However, Im not sure if the air temperature has anything to do with it...temp has dropped alot since i first noticed the prob. I've decided to ride it out till spring and re-evaluate then. If anyone hears of Toyota narrowing down a for sure fix to the slack/clunk feel somewhere in the driveline please, please post something. Thanks
