I have been planning to do this for a while but I was wondering if there was any way to make this work without running a wire from the headlight connector. Is there someplace that I could get the 'headlight on' signal under the dash? If it makes any difference, I have a Limited with auto headlights.

Thanks again.
No, that is the only way. I have Limited too.
The first time the wire was not ran to the headlight, it worked, but there was one issue, when the headlights were coming on (auto) the DRL did not dim.
