Default Re: 2005 Tundra DC HID Retrofit Progress

hey dibble,

on page 3, post #41, 5th picture (output shot)

i noticed that the blue cut-offs from each projector were not aimed at the same spot (i.e. not merging into one), they are supposed to be aimed at the same spot correct?

now how did you correct that? did u re-drill the holes in the reflector and remount them or did you use the adjusting screws on the headlight to move the cutoffs horizontally? i think that the adjustment screws can correct for horizontal and vertical misalignment.

on the other hand, did you experience any "rotational" problem with the beam. i.e. the cutoff is not parallel (180 degrees) to the ground? i'm afraid that if i don't get the projector mounted properly, then i will have this problem and i don't want to constantly have to reposition the projector trying to get a horizontal cutoff. if you did experience this, pls tell me how to solve the problem. thanks man.
