Default Re: Tundra vs. F-150 Test

They do have a point in the "Hauling" part of the video, where the tundra has more body roll than the others. But I don't think it's a bad thing. It provides a smoother ride in everyday driving instead of jolting me around in the truck when going around corners.
a few weeks ago i was driving at night on a highway with a friend, and the highway climbs up hill a little bit. Well, I'm in the right lane and look over and see a good size doe on the yellow line. I told my friend that the deer was really close to the highway, and as I say that i look directly in front of me and a big buck was standing right smack in the middle of my lane. I didn't see the deer until my headlights shined on him, and going up hill 70 mph it's a little harder to see a deer than driving on a straight highway. I realize that he isn't moving, and without thinking I swerved into the left lane and then back to the right lane. I don't know how my side mirror didn't swipe him or something, but with a little body roll, I felt safe. I remember wondering why the truck didn't flip over. I basically took a 90 degree turn at 70 mph. The truck handled it very well. I don't know how the other trucks would compare in that same situation...

oh, and in the durability test, it looked like there was a lot more in-cabin shaking going on in the ford, than the tundra. Tundra handled it better than the f 150 in that aspect. The bed wags a lot on the tundra, but I don't know when the next time i'll be driving in a empty river bed to have that problem lmao
