My only issue with the truck was the gas mileage. Despite what anyone says I couldn't get over 15mpg on the highway with my F150. I've got over 20 with the 5.7 Tundra. With their 6spd auto now the mileage may improve but I would guess only slightly.

Yes, it was scary. And my experiences occurred BEFORE i ever even DROVE a tundra.

I live just north of Interstate 10, so I get on it every day, multiple times per day. I have been driving a V6 Tacoma since 01. Last christmas, I borrowed my sisters truck to drive about 10 minutes down the highway to the main part of town to get some stuff we forgot from the store.

I take the same entry ramp EVERY day with my tacoma and figured this new F150 she had would have way more pickup.

WRONG! I was really sweating it once I committed to getting on the highway with 18 wheelers at 70mph bearing down on me. I didnt feel like I was gonna make it. It had nothing.
