Default Re: Sun Visor Problem

Hi,

Here is another option in fixing loose sun visor with I-link. This is what works for me.

- Remove the mirror/vanity light from the visor. It will hang by its wires.

- Locate where the shaft slides into the visor tube.

- With a box knife cut and remove the styrofoam to exposed the 3 tin tubes. The tin tubes are about one half inch long.

- Slide the visor off the shaft being careful not to break the electrical wires.

- With a plier gently squeeze the 3 exposed tin tubes.

- Slide the visor back in to the shaft. Visor need to be force back in if is too tight.

- Replace the mirror/vanity light in to the visor.

- If the visor is still loose squeeze the 3 exposed tin tubes again.

- Good luck. Hope this helps.
