I would have to agree that your probably better with a toyota water pump. You don't want to have to take that off if it dies again in a year.
I always get alternators from the junk yard off a lower mileage toyota for around $50. Never had to replace a Toyota one I've got from a junk yard. But check it out when you pick it up. Spin the pulley and make sure you don't hear any grinding, etc. Went to pick up a couple one time and I could hear grinding and dirt in there.
