Just recently the wife's sunroof on her 05 4Runner Limited crapped out. We purchased the Toyota Platinum warranty for $880 from Troy at Toyota of Greenfield just before the warranty ran out in August. This isn't a sales pitch as I'm not affiliated, but it was the best $880 we spent. Free rental vehicle and repair covered 100% I asked the dealer how much it would have cost to repair the sunroof and he told me around $2500
He went on to say they have been seeing problems with that vintage 4Runner and the sunroofs going bad. Has anyone else here experienced this problem?
