Default Transmission leak

Hi everyone im a long time reader, first time poster! I finally got a 5.7 RCSB tundra used with 10K miles for 17,500 dollars which i though was a good deal. So i drove it home from the dealership and i am amazed by the power of this vehicle and how fast it accelerates. It was just incredible until the next morning where i backed out and saw a large oil smudge on the ground. I s**t my pants and parked the car back into the driveway. After cleaning the seats and spraying lysol in the car i went under the truck. I found out that the part that was connecting the driveshaft to the transmission had a very small crack in it and sprayed a red oil all over the place( I think its transmission fluid) it was also dripping on the floor. I have contacted the dealer about this and i am bringing the car in to get it fixed. Has anyone else had this problem? Or am i just unlucky for buying a used vehicle.
