I never take my job for granted. Even though I'm making $30,000 less now than I did last year due to overtime cutbacks, I'm still happy our company hasn't laid off anyone since we opened in 1948.
I'm cool with NOT owning a $1 million home or a vacation home because it means I can leave work at work to a certain extent. I'd never be happy owning my own company. I'm too much about myself, and don't want the burdens of a business. I'd rather put in a great day's work for someone else, and enjoy the rest of my life.
