Default Re: 2004 Sienna - Power Sliding Door Cable Snapped

I just wanted to give all of you an update. Toyota called and said after investigation, since we have a great record with Toyota (we have had many of them), they will split the parts cost with us which equals to $518. They will not do anything with the labor. Our van has 80,000 miles on it even though it is only a 2004, plus the warranty has been out for about 2-3 years now.

But, they said if this ever becomes a recall, we will get the rest of our money back at that point.

I encourage all of you to go on this site:

IVOQ - File a Complaint

and file a complaint. The more people who do it, the more likely this will become a recall.

I wish everyone luck with this! We still have to eat over $1k of this mess at this point!
