I don't recommend against it...it's really up to you.
Most of the leveling kits on the market will not put any additional wear on your truck. It will have to be re-aligned, but that's not a problem. And if you have a 4x4, I'd recommend putting a kit on that comes with a diff drop, like the Truxxx or the Low Range Off Road. I've installed both, Truxxx on mine and wannaredtundra's and the LROR on mhollack's, they are both great kits. I lean towards the Truxxx because I like the black powdercoat finish and it's made from steel.
