Default Re: Playing around with the de-badged look

Okay, need some more help please! Used the fishing line and goof off, and it worked great! (i also found that if you are going to do this in 40 degree weather (the sun was shining, and it's colorado-what can I say!?) that the wife's blow dryer helps out a LOT!)roud:
However, since i am not putting the decals back on exactly as they were, I need to figure out how to get rid of the hazy outline that is left from the previous decals... i tried turtle waxing it, bit it didnt help much. i have some super fine 400 grit sandpaper in the garage, but dont wanna tackle that unless someone else has done it before... any suggestions?

By the way- the green looks wicked cool... will post some pics sometime soon...
