Default Trailer wiring harness

Ok so I bought a brake controller and a 7-pin plug for my 2000 tundra recently, but haven't had a chance to install it. I looked up under the truck today, and the 4-pin trailer plug goes about a foot and a half up the frame and then plugs into a gray connector. next to it is a slightly larger connector..... same color, looks like it's a place to plug in a 7-pin plug? is it really that easy that all i have to do is buy the small 7-pin plug and harness and then wire in my brake controller?
