Default 2000 Camry Solara Valet key question

Ok so first of all I just want to say I greatly miss this place. I sold my tundra to my brother in law a few years back when I got a hondra pilot and I sure do miss that truck!

Anyway I have a question that I feel 90% confident of but I want to get confirmation before I go embarssing someone. In the past few months I sold my parents 2000 Solara I think SLE? It was the top of the line model to my girlfriend. I gave her the two master keys and the remotes to the car, but I held on to the valet key because she has been known to loose or lock her key in the car before. I should have tested the valet key fully so I knew exactly what it does. I know it doesn't open up the glove box and trunk.

I know the answer to my question should be fine but I just want to make sure. I want to go by her work and use the valet key to put a suprise in her car for her but I want to make sure the alarm or anti-theft system doesn't sound. If it does she will have to come out of her work to turn it off, and ruin the suprise. So can anyone verify for me that with the factory anti-theft system this should be fine. I know some security systems have a valet mode that you have to enable which is what is having me second guess myself, but since it is just the factory anti-theft I see no reason why it would create a problem because otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the valet key.

-Thanks in advance
