Default Re: Starter motor warranty?

There are some Toyota Dealers that will warrant the parts they replace for the lifetime of the vehicle, but I think most provide a mileage/time warranty, whichever comes first - it should be noted on your receipt. Advance Auto Parts sells some starters that are warranted for two years - but that's not the kind of warranty you are looking for. You may want them to check out yoour starter to assess if you need a new one or if you can rebuild it.

Every three years is excessive - seems like there might be aproblem in your ignition system somewhere wlse that is is driving your starter to die.
