What's the fastest you dare pull that setup?

Richfield area (Central Valley), and I keep it below 65, though it would go faster. I've got the rear trailer with about 40-50lbs of tongue weight and my front trailer the tongue weight is off the chart, because the water tank sits right up front. That being said she goes down the road like a rock. No problems. One day I will be able to get a toy hauler, but it will have to wait, because this set up is paid for.
I think it's wise to keep her around 65 tandom, to be on the safe side. We were driving at night with very little traffic, but we definately found out that 75 is too fast for comfort. Although it was fairly stable at that speed, you still had to give it your 100% concentration holding the wheel steady.

I just remember my uncle pulling tandom with 2 bumper pull trailers like yours. He couldn't go over 55 cause they'd start to whipping on him. He was pulling it with a half ton chevy van SWB.

I don't know if you're familiar with the grade going north out of kanab towards panquitch or not. It's a pretty good grade, i know that. Pulling the 12k lb setup last year up that grade, the truck did drop to 2nd gear but wasn't in 2nd that long gaining speed. I flew by truckers like they were standing still up that hill. For being 3k lbs or so overweight, these trucks never seeze to amaze me.

I'm sure we'll be making our way thru your neck of the woods this summer some time. Hopefully we can afford the gas money to go 2 or 3 times, but we'll see i guess.
