Default Re: Cat Delete Test Pipes

hi ,what i have heard our tundra cat's are almost like performence cat's. if you were to buy a new set of performence cat's, they will not gain you much if any at all.
but any kind of exhaust that isn't a straight pipe will have some restriction.
that is why in calf. there is a 3rd cat, & due to that 3rd cat there HP is 5HP less than every other state. so now i'm assuming that each cat reduce's 5hp.

the only way to gain, is to use straight pipes and have the o2 senors skrewed directly into the straight pipe. it will work, & can be done, because it was done.
and
it will not through any cell or any codes, just as long as you reconnect both o2 senors into the straight pipe's.

this will gain you a total of about 10 more HP.
5hp per cat.

off road use only! for all you fed's out there, that know all the rules & regulation's!LOL

if your state doesn't do emissions testing, you are good to go.
have all the fun you want off roading.
there is a member here that has a older tundra that has all the mod's done including this 1.
try it, juct make the cut's perfect so in case you need to put them back on, it isn't a hack job. all you need to do ,is go to any exhaust shop with a measurement, and tell them to spread the end's to whatever you need them to be ,so you can slip them over the end's.
good luck,
gorilla
