Several things about the FJ seem to be far from perfect, the paint chips easily, the plastic liners in the cargo area will scuff badly if anything is hauled there, the roof rack looks great but is next to useless; I added several extra crossbars on mine & improved that a bit. Perhaps the worst thing about the FJ is it's terrible windshield glass, it will chip itsself to pieces is a short time. I am on my second & already have 2 nice chips in it. If Toyota chooses to ignore these defects, I will ignore Toyota next time I buy.....
