Default Brake Contoller Plug Location?

Howdy,

I have an '07 with tow package. Towing a small trailer. I have:
1. Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller
2. Tekonsha brake control harness (part # 3040-P ordered from local RV shop, $14.95)
3. OEM brake wiring harness adapter (Toyota Gremlins left in my glove box)

I've removed the driver side kick panel, but I'm not seeing where the harness adapter (#2 or #3) plugs into the factory wiring harness. The end of my OEM adapter an the Tekonsha adapter are the same....So I'm pretty sure I bought the right adapter.

So I watch the video on Etrailer and it seems WAY easy. OK. No problem. Where is that plug? Huh....OK nothing.

So I log on and read the threads on here and suspected I was just an idiot. I go back out to my truck and look again.....Maybe if it wasn't there before, somehow it will appear now? I've got the brake pedal wedged in the back of skull and I'm pretty sure it's now touching my brain. Nothing.

Back in the house. Read a couple more postings. Same info. I go back out to the truck. Nothing.

I've certainly been guilty of not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, but what in the hell? Is it way up there? Is it plugged in and totally wrapped in black tape? Somebody mentioned a cover?
