If you have tow pkg delete, I guess that also deletes the trans cooler. But I'd make sure, first. If you aren't towing, why are you worried you'll overheat the trans? Do you expect it will heat up just with regular driving?

If you absolutely need the cooler, and don't want to come up with the extra big bucks, I'd start looking for a wrecked Tundra. But not towing, I'd be surprised to hear of trans overheating problems.

Edit: sorry I just saw your other post. I'd look for a wrecked truck, although a totalled truck probably was hit in the front end, so the cooler may be toast anyway
