Default Re: Volant Power Core CAI

Well I got the CAI in today and installed it, I'm very happy with it overall, huge difference in throttle response. Gives my exhaust more of rumble too. Very nice. However upon installing i found a few flaws. The filter housing screw holes don't line up completely with the tubing that connects to it. I had to drill a hole to make the filter housing line up to the hole that mounted it to the truck. The actual intake hole doesn't line up exactly with the factory air inlet. Nothing that a little common sense cant take care of. I don't understand how a company can make a product specifically for a vehicle but can't perfect it before releasing it to the consumer. Whatev, I love it, you guys should get one.
