If you pull off the cover that goes over the shifter there is a small square and yellow box mounted to the body of the vehicle. Don't quote me exactly but it does say something like "Inclinometer Sensor" with the ability to have something plugged into it. I found this when I was running wires one day and was not specifically looking for this sensor (I do not have the guages either).
