Had a service tech tell me one time that tires should never be run higher than 75% of the max rated inflation. Have never been able to verify if that if that is gospel or not. A portable compressor is very nice considering every time I get my oil changed they check the tires and drop the pressure to 35 even when I tell them to leave the tires alone.
