Default ok I went to the scales today. What does everyone think?
i have a 2003 AC V8 with tow package 2wd. gcwr is 11800. I went to the scales today with my 25' travel trailer. I weighed just the truck with the trailer attached first. I had my sister and 2 year old in the truck. Usually I will just have my wife and son when we go on trips. the truck weighed in at 5470# with trailer attached. oh yeah, and I had a 1/2 tank of gas.

then I weighed the whole rig. The trailer had no water in it. It did have full propane and batteries and everything. The total weight was 10280#. If I fill the water tank I'll have about an extra 300#. Does that mean I have about 1000# to spare for a generator and camping gear? Will I be ok with this setup?
