Default Re: '00 Tundra Boyo Plate Cam Install Questions

I've managed to get the wires run and camera installed; however I am having one hell of a time finding the mythical reverse wire. Everything I've been able to find on this site and the whole of the internet (by way of Google) points to a red wire with a black stripe in the drivers kick-panel. I've managed to find about 3 of these and tapped all of them; none work when being put in reverse. I have tried having the head-unit set to ground and battery for polarity, no dice. I can activate the camera fine by pressing the 'rear view' button on my 4100 screen, so I know it works... it's just this wire that's holding up the show.

Supposedly this wire is on a 5-wire white connection, the only one I can see is way in the back of the kick-panel area above a smaller yellow connection (I think that has 3-4 wires on it). This is the only other location I haven't tried because I cannot get the connector off to be able to get to it with the wire and tools to tap it.

I've also read some posts saying its a red/yellow wire... I just don't know what to do. I am not going to start tapping into stuff left and right just to find it but thus far I'm having zero luck.

Can someone please advise or post a picture of where this wire is at? It's driving me absolutely crazy.
