ProPride 3P Trailer Sway Control Hitch for safety while towing I run a ProPride and it is amazing! I used to use an Equal-i-zer, and it was great with a smaller (21') trailer and my Tacoma, but wouldn't handle my new trailer. I stepped up to the ProPride because I didn't want to buy a new truck. The ProPride works as advertised and controlled the trailer. But I still didn't feel safe towing a large trailer with the Tacoma. So here I am with a 2008 Crew Max.
For a brake controller, I recently changed out my Prodigy with a TruControl Gold. That thing is fantastic!
