Default Re: American Weldings Catclamp issue

For the record, Catclamp finally made good on the second key..... kind of. Of course, I had to file with the Better Business Bureau and stop payment on my credit card for them to finally listen. Oh..... and I guess they weren't too pleased with me after that. They had to address my mail as "Dick Smith". My first name is Robert..... not Dick. Nice, professional attitude eh'?

Personally, I would look at different methods at securing your converter before dealing with American Welding again. Besides their clamp being 3/8" too short and causing mounting issues, they are not credible business folk in my opinion. As I suggested to them before, if I sell my vehicle and place the clamps on 2 different cars..... one of the cars will be without the Catclamp key. And Murphy's law always visits when you least expect it.

I am hoping American Welding will update their website and state "one key per vehicle" but I don't think they have the walnuts to do that. Instead they will continue to milk the public for every dollar they can. Oh.... and if a cat thief wants the catkey... all they need to do is order a Catclamp. Duh!
