Personally, I would look at different methods at securing your converter before dealing with American Welding again. Besides their clamp being 3/8" too short and causing mounting issues, they are not credible business folk in my opinion. As I suggested to them before, if I sell my vehicle and place the clamps on 2 different cars..... one of the cars will be without the Catclamp key. And Murphy's law always visits when you least expect it.

I am hoping American Welding will update their website and state "one key per vehicle" but I don't think they have the walnuts to do that. Instead they will continue to milk the public for every dollar they can. Oh.... and if a cat thief wants the catkey... all they need to do is order a Catclamp. Duh!
If it were me, I'd remove that clamp and send it all back to them and file another complaint. What a poor show of customer support and business quality.

Sending you a single key for all 4 clamps is pathetic and in no way increases your security. It's a cop-out for them to cut costs on producing the product. Their lack of response since the initial post shows how much they care.

Hopefully this thread hurts them enough for them to realize that charging a customer for something that should be provided with the product is not going to fly.
