Come on guys let's ease up on each other and get this thing done. Like Bigwilyt said, if you need to pay buy cc please go ahead and do so, I see no problem in the vendor preferring a cashiers check or money order. Think about it, the vendor is a brick and mortar store and comitted to 20 orders from all over the country, that is at a minimum 16,000 dollars ( 20X800 just to get an amount )and in this financial time that we are in not every buisness has that to just give up on some votes from the internet. Now this guy can't work and give away his product for free and doesn't really need a bunch of inventory that he may not be able to move out of his "brick & mortar" if some of the "voters" back out for whatever reason, money order/cashiers check ensures the commitment of the "voter" and gaurentees a sale (and some profit), not to say that a cc doesn't do the same (smaller profit) but you can back out of a cc sale if you change your mind. Group buys are tough to put together and keep together just because of the nature of the internet, and Bigwilyt and others have put a lot into this thing to get it done and yes the payment method was unexpected but as has been stated it is a perferred method and the vendor is not against accepting cc let's not blow the reputation of the forum (for future group buys anywhere) or Bigwilyt by letting these small hurdles get in the way. Thanks to everyone who committed to purchase, has already confirmed their orders and sent/made their payments. Those that have not called in their confirmations all the bugs should be worked out now so get those calls in and thanks you all for your support.
