HomeLink version (3 button Garage opener) drivers side visor???
I believe these were the most common defective visors.
In any event...get out your BIG
black marker...Toyota has never addressed any visor issues . They will not replace it for free.
It appears that the early gen HL's
01-03 had more of this problem.
The
Homelink buttons were moved from the drivers visor to the center overhead console from
04-07.
The dealer gets alot of $$ for it new.
Used is a mixed bag because many coming from salvage yards are pretty much worn out and loose already.
It appears that these visors always wear out after the 3 YR /36 Mos warranty is up. As a result it seems that there was no interest by Toyota to fix the 01-03's visor design until 04.
