yeah I thought about aftermarket links but I have the Toyota extended Platinum warranty plan so replacement is FREE....then if it ever happens again (IF......hopefully never) then I can consider other links.
of course I'm getting tied of the dealership telling me "we''ll have to call and see if that part is covered" for all my repairs...so now I bring a printout from toyotafinancial.com showing it is....I can tell you the local dealership is gonna get a thrashing on thesurvey after this last episode with the sway bar link....tell me they have to call the national # in California to see if the link is covered and I ask " don't you have a paper list, computer system or something that tells you what parts are covered? they say no....then when I ask "why I was offered extended coverage when I bought my Tundra and handed a pamphlet BY THE DEALERSHIP showing part coverage...you mean to tell me your financial dept doesn't have this list"...before they could answer I show them the printout straight from Toyota and tell them "quit f*ing with me"...order the d*&n parts and FIX IT!!!
