Default Re: Another sway control Question

I use a Husky that works fine for me. Both Eazlift and Reese are about twice as much as the Husky and best I can tell they do the exact same thing. Remember to clean your sway control with a wire brush between uses to keep is working 100%. You will probably see folks say never back up with the sway control on. Not always true. An easy way to check is to take your ball mount off the truck, then put it and the sway control on the trailer. Move the ball mount through a full range of motion and see if the ball for the sway control hits the coupler when full to one side. If it does you want to remove the sway control when making severely tight turns. If the the rear edge of the ball mount hits the coupler before the sway control ball don't bother to remove the sway control when backing or making tight turns.
