Question 08 DblCab Tacoma Towing a 23' Rinker boat

So I am thinking about buying a 2003 Rinker 232 Captiva cuddy boat. The dry weight is approx. 4200 lbs. Plus around 350 lbs of fuel, with a 1000 lb. trailer sitting underneath it. The truck is an 08 Dbl Cab short bed Tacoma Pre-runner TRD Sport with the 4.0 V6. I have read that it is rated at 273hp. Is this true? And do you think the truck can handle that much weight? Everything says it is capable of 6500 lbs., but can it REALLY handle that, other then just up the street and around town? Most people say yeah no problem, you wont be outrunning people, but it will do it. Even on the interstate for a few hours on hills? So, should I go for it, or not?
