I'll be towing my car hauler and my rock crawler (85 4Runner) for the first time in a few weeks. I've read up on how to check tongue weight using the bathroom scale method.

I'm not so confident in this and I'm turning to the forum hoping for more input.
I've located this handy tool to accurately measure the tongue weight without having to go to a truck scale or use a bathroom scale.
Has anyone here used this and how does it work as far as accuracy?
If you have one or have used one, how close did your bathroom scale measurements come to the scale measurements?
The scale is made by Sherline and there are three models available. 100#, 2000#, and 5000#. I think the 2000# version would be best.
