well after my encounter...all is well...the Tundra came out of "surgery" with no "ill effects" and is running smoothly now! Great to have things fixed and they just hand you the keys and say "no charge" (due to my extended warranty!- thnx Troy @ Greenfield ,MA Toyota for that warranty deal!)...saved the broken part for posterity 
lizard-- yeah just like any insurance/warranty...you pay and pay and pay then have to fight to get the benefits...should NEVER be that way but sadly it is....most American "sheep" will just crawl away and accept it..I however NEVER will....we need to stop being a nation of sheep following as a flock and stand up for our rights and priveledges!!!...
