I towed a 19ft TT with an 07 double cab auto. I used the trailer to stay in during work in the oilfield so it came with me everywhere, approximately 100k miles and the truck had no problems. Like previously stated, you won't be winning any speed races but the temperature gauge never moved. As for terrain, I live in the Rocky Mountains and still no movement on the temp gauge. It is always a good idea to put air bags in, I didn't and didn't have any troubles, though it would make your ride nicer. I now have a Tundra but put almost 200k miles on the taco and she still ran like a top. My total trailer weight was approx 5200 lbs loaded.
