Re: After market sunroof?
i see we have one person that works in a dealership that doesnt approve of aftermarket sunroofs, thats ok, he is entitled to his opinion, and a couple of his comments are justifiable, one thing to make sure of , make sure the company you have installing a roof is a reputable one and has experience, not one that does a couple a month, find a company that does several a week, they will be well versed in installations, also the the question of a manufacture going out of business is a valid one, 7 or 8 years ago there were five manufactures of aftermarket sunroofs, now there is 2, the interesting part of this is , webasto sunroofs is has a relationship in as an OE manufacture for nearly every car brand out there, the sunroof in your Dodge(if you own one) is probably made by them, they also have an aftermarket division. webasto is a great company and is also a global company, i have put them all in and they there are no worries, i have on in my own car, check out webastoshowroom.com , as an installer, i repaired more factory sunroofs, 2 to 1 over aftermarket. there are reasons for this as well. if you contact webasto suroofs they can direct you to a dealer near you.
