Default Re: Highlander MPG sound-off...

Sorry Jaetee, we've been through this before and it isn't very exciting.

FWIW, I have an 04 I4 2WD, and last weekend fully loaded with me, wife, 2kids, black lab, outboard motor, tons of stuff we headed 270 miles each way on a weekend trip. Mileage was 25.8 mpg. The tank before that was 50/50 city hwy, 24.3mpg. The best I've ever gotten was 28 mpg, worst is about 21 in winter. Towing gets me down in the teens pretty quick.

I'd love a scanguage. When I take along trip I set the cruise at 75~80 mph and forget it. I'm sure if I slowed down it would be much better, but I don't have the time.

Also, I run my tires at 35psi and keep a pretty well maintained rig. I'm at 60k miles.
