If I installed a camera, I'd check to make sure it worked before the install

I checked the exhaust tip (blew through it) seemed to work just fine

. It's more like if you bought a lift kit, had it professionally installed and found a defect...who should pay for the re-install?
MBRP sells this product as being powder coated, now maybe I'm wrong put I would not expect the exhaust tip to get hot enough to burn off the coating with very little use at that. My guess it wasn't powder coated
I understand that it comes off as bashing the Company, that's why I tried to change the title to say "I would not buy from...again"; I too am in customer service and understand that you cannot please everyone, but if my product had a defect, I would do everything to make sure that this particular customer was taking care of because ultimately it is my responsibility to provide said customer with a reliable product.
Sure they offered a new tip, but like I said, why would I go through the trouble of having the new tip installed when the first one failed?
Sure, I can take it off, destroy it, and send them pictures, but like someone said what stops them from saying that it wasn't the tip from my truck and not pay me?
Didn't mean to bash the company as a whole...my apologies, I just meant to share my experience so that other people are aware.
Send me a new tip and pay for my install...cool, done!
