Default Re: Wheel Cleaning

Well when I used to detail cars we used a mix of basically this stuff that was extremely similar to muratic acid, and then would mix it with water. about 65% water and 35% the muratic acid stuff. This stuff was so potent it could nearly knock a person out if inhaled 2 much. I really liked using this on the chrome wheels but wasnt fond of using it so much on the aluminum wheels because it sometimes left like acid burn marks. so whenever i would clean aluminum wheels i would use a really strong degreaser. But now that I dont detail cars anymore and i do not have easily acess to "extreme" chems any more. I used the Armoral brand wheel cleaner. And safe to say it kicks ***. I works extremely well on removing road grime and brake dust.
Hope I could help
