Chrysler made poor quality cars (caliber, neon, stratus etc), plain and simple, I see it on a regular basis. GM was too spread out.
Pepboys is about to go under as well.
I wouldn't trust any employee of costco to be any real help in your decision making, however the guys at discount know what they're talking about.
