Hey guys, I am new to the forums and I have an '08 TRD SR5 5.7 DC. I have lifetime oil changes from the dealer and the last two times I have had it serviced, the oil filter o-ring has busted. I am a service rep who uses my own truck so I go a lot of miles quickly. I had this problem at my 20k and 25k oil changes. The first time it hapened I made it about twenty miles from the dealership and stopped (luckily) at the store and noticed oil all over my truck. The second time it was two days later that it happened and I about had a conniption fit with the service department over why this was happening. I was told by the dealership that this has happened to other customers but few and far between. I have not had any other problems from my truck but I cant sit somewhere for 2+ hours after every oil change to have a tech come save my truck. Any recomendations?
